Welcome to The Healthy Minds Cooperative

The Healthy Minds Cooperative is an innovative new health care cooperative that provides a variety of peer-based services to end-users of mental health services and their families. It also provides significant and meaningful input into the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of mental health services in the Capital Health District.

Although somewhat similar cooperatives are known to exist in Italy, the Healthy Minds Cooperative is believed to be the first health care cooperative in North America which is owned and operated by end-users of mental health services, their family members, and mental health service providers.
